And here it is, the moment you've all been waiting for… Room 303
is coming to London.
To kick off our London debut in style, Room 303 welcomes one of Techno's most forward thinking acts right now in Etapp Kyle
, at one of London's favourite intimate venues, The Nest
. To those alien to Room 303, Etapp Kyle, or the Nest, it's time to get to know…
ROOM 303 — https://facebook.com/Room303UK/
Founded in Exeter in May 2016, we at 303 HQ focus on the darker side of dance music, having invited industry stalwarts such as DVS1 and the Zenker Brothers to our notorious parties at Move
, along with rising stars including Volvox, Or:la and Anastasia Kristensen, and industry giants Dense & PIka and B. Traits.
Our team has a Techno-obsessed passion that runs deep to the core of the brand. And its the 'music above all else' policy that has helped us redefine Exeter's club culture, sculpting out a new scene that no one saw coming- leading a Techno movement into a city renowned for its breaks and drops is no easy task, and so now, with 24 events under our belt, it's time for us begin the next stage in our quest for world domination- in London supported by some of the brands highly talented team of residents: EDEN
and Friend of Mine.
ETAPP KYLE — https://facebook.com/etappkyle/
Over the past few years, Etapp Kyle’s cavernous and often hallucinatory techno has dovetailed into an obsession with spatial qualities of sound. A chance encounter with Ben Klock during a trip to Berlin resulted in subsequent releases on the Klockworks label and established Etapp as a technical producer with an ear for detail. This reputation was further cemented after he joined Ostgut Booking, released an EP for Unterton and contributed to Ostgut Ton’s ten-year anniversary compilation Ostgut Ton | Zehn.
Etapp offers up pristine and explorative sci-fi landscapes while deftly avoiding intergalactic techno clichés. It’s a sound that draws as much on musical elements as it does on architecture and space. Which is to say that both in his productions and DJ sets, he manages to convey not only the aesthetics but also the physical experience of the club.
THE NEST — https://facebook.com/ilovethenest/
Since opening in 2010, The Nest has become renowned for showcasing the newest and most exciting dance music talent from around the world, all in an intimate basement space in the heart of Dalston. A bonafide institution, The Nest’s no frills Martin Audio sound system attracts music lovers from far and wide, who come to experience at first hand their carefully crafted music policy, state of the art lighting and close-knit clubbing experience.
