Leading an active lifestyle has many benefits to improving physical and mental health. Regular physical activity can reduce the risk of developing over 20 chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease and some types of cancer. It is a natural medicine that we want to help more residents benefit from.
As it is the Year of Physical Activity we would like to request that where possible, please could you walk to the picnic to avoid parking problems in the local roads for residents. The Morris Way Car Park has limited space and will only be available to those with disabled badges on the day of the event.
In the interest of everyone’s enjoyment and safety at our family event we won’t be welcoming dogs to the playing fields during the event. We also ask that BBQs are not used.
