The day will be a broad exploration of the ethics and practicalities of how we connect with participants during and after our workshops, as well as how we connect with each other as facilitators/leaders and assistants. How do we ethically manage the connections that occur during workshops? How do we adjust our roles, for example if people attend our workshops who are friends/lovers/connections/clients? How do we work with other people's energy consensually during ritual and energy raising? How do we operate ethically within what are sometimes quite small networks of people?
The workshop will be a held and facilitated space where participants will be supported to explore these issues not just intellectually but emotionally and energetically. We will develop our awareness of energy and how it operates and our ability to take charge of it. We will spend time exploring consent, both physical and energetic. We will share and experiment with different ways of communicating. We will practise our abilities to consciously merge and demerge (separating the energies) and to find 'where the energy is' and how to tell the differences between projection and connection. These exercises will be intended to generate shared and individual thoughts and understandings and there will be opportunities for focused sharing and for facilitated group discussions.
