Doors open at 7.20 for a prompt 7.30 start, and it’s £10 per person. NB NO ADMISSIONS AFTER 7.30 TO AVOID DISRUPTING THE SESSION FOR OTHERS — thank you for your consideration.
Bring something comfortable to lie on eg a yoga or Pilates mat or recliner chair, a cushion(s) and some water. Also a blanket or sleeping bag to keep you warm.
A Sound Bath is a relaxing, meditative experience where you’re immersed in instrumental and vocal sound and the vibrations it produces. Sound Therapy uses the vibrations of sound to balance and relax you.
At the start of the Sound Bath we invite you to get comfortable on your mat or chair. There’s nothing you need to do — just switch off from your day and let the sound wash over and through you. You'll experience vocals, gongs, singing bowls, drums, rattles, chimes and other sounds. There’s no right or wrong way to feel, just come along with an open heart and mind. And make sure you drink lots of water afterwards to help your body and mind to process the sound.
**Sound Baths are not recommended if you’re in the first trimester of pregnancy or have had a bone fracture in the last 6 weeks. Please contact me before attending if you have any health problems. People who have a pacemaker, epilepsy, advanced stages of cancer, ear or balance problems might find they are especially sensitive to the sound and vibrations.
