Japanese wine tasting: Koshu and international grape varieties

Join us for this rare opportunity to explore in detail some of Japan’s most important wines.

Japanese wine specialist Lynne Sherriff MW will host this advanced-level tasting along with representatives from four key Japanese wineries – Kurambon Wine, Suntory Tomi no Oka Winery, Château Mercian and Manns Wine.

You'll have the opportunity to taste wines made from Koshu, Japan’s distinctly pink-skinned indigenous grape variety, in a variety of styles including Sur Lie and orange wine. As well as Koshu, you’ll also discover the effects of Japanese climate and winemaking on some well-known international grape varieties.
